The Vice President of Sales plans, organizes, directs, and controls the execution of Supplier and BBG programs in collaboration and partnership with the EVP, supplier sales and trade marketing teams. Manage local team to maximize sales, field-marketing opportunities & deliver financial objectives in market. Ensure in-market sales organization has capabilities to respond to emerging business needs and strategic requirements. Continuously develop In-market Team capabilities.
The Chain Key Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales and marketing initiatives for supplier brands in assigned account base (supporting Bristol Farms and Gelson's Markets) throughout Southern California. Previous knowledge and/or experience representing wine, beer and/or spirits at corporate level in chain grocery considered a plus. Ideal candidate will be dynamic, personable and willing to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers. Effective planning, selling, merchandising and communication that permits achievement of company and supplier objectives. Additional recommended skills include Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), as well as pricing applications and SAP.
