  • Overview

    This position plans, organizes and directs the maintenance and repair of the building and its equipment. Also performs basic and complicated maintenance functions as well as preventative maintenance and routine repairs on delivery truck fleet


    Ability to perform and/or service other class 3-8 truck equipment and general maintenance functions such as troubleshooting, lubricating, adjustments, replace and repair parts as needed


    Intermediate understanding in electrical systems, computer controlled engine diagnostics and basic related controls.


    Maintain equipment to ensure reliability – oil, grease, adjust as needed (conveyor and related equipment; forklifts, Tractor trailers etc.)

    Maintain cost in department (parts, cleaning supplies etc.)

    Set specifications for new equipment and forklifts

    Work with vendors on new equipment

    Basic building maintenance (i.e. repairs to interior/exterior building)

    Work with vendors on new equipment


    • High School diploma or its equivalent
    • Knowledge of conveyor/material handling equipment
    • Ability to read, speak, understand and follow English instructions
    • Ability to read blue prints and schematics on electric equipment
    • Experience in building trades (painting, sheet rocking, welding and HVAC)
    • Mechanical aptitude
