  • Overview

    The Warehouse Inventory/Receiving Associate accurately performs proper receiving functions, (offloads inbound/ outbound loads, handles all associated paper work, BOL etc., verifies purchase orders, accurately inputs inventory in systems, ensures accurate inventory counts, puts product in assigned bin locations, handles inventory replenishments, and moving of inventory to/from assigned bins, safely and successfully operates forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric/ manual pallet jack) and interfaces with the Inventory Control Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, and Operations Director and ensures accurate execution in the Warehouse Management System to accurately post in the company’s primary business system.

    Responsibilities

    • Offloads, receives, verifies and inbound loads
    • Put away of product to assigned/appropriate bin locations
    • Movement of product via replenishment, bin-to-bin, and other inventory product movements as assigned
    • Cleanup of receiving area and proper maintenance of all material handling equipment; coordination of picking outbound shipments and loading of truck
    • Ensures all safety and security procedures are enforced
    • Other daily warehouse functions as directed by supervisor

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
    • Excellent time management skills required
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to work unsupervised
    • Ability to kneel and bend on a repetitive basis
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis
    • Ability to push or pull heavy pallets using a pallet jack (non-motorized).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products preferred
    • Must be able to qualify/certify for Forklift operation
