  • Overview

    The Corporate Strategy and Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of key strategic projects across the organization, including pre-merger integration workstreams. This position will also be responsible for providing data and analytical support for due diligence related to merger and acquisitions. The Strategy and Planning Manager will support corporate commercial strategy needs as well.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and implementation of key strategic projects across the organization. Monitor and report progress of assigned projects. Exhibit leadership and influence change as part of the strategic initiative implementation.
    • Manage and lead various merger integration working groups. Plan project checklists, scheduling, action planning and implementation. Coordinate and collaborate across functional business leaders to push forward projects, tasks and expected outcomes meeting critical milestones and pre-identified timelines.
    • Manage due diligence requests; data and analysis to support due diligence; point of contact to internal and external counsel specific to due diligence data and informational needs. Support ad hoc commercial, legal, financial and 3rd party requests specific to any pending transactions. Manage virtual data room.
    • Support Corporate Commercial Strategy Needs. Act as Supplier Business Development primary point of contact to support Supplier Portfolio strategy; Enterprise- wide RFP development; Project lead all Supplier and Beverage Commodity analysis (Beer, wine, spirits, Non Alc). Develop Supplier facing presentations. Work cross functionally and across North America with Commercial Excellence, In-Market Sales, Finance and other functions to lead this effort on behalf of Corporate Strategy and Supplier BD.

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years Corporate / Commercial Experience
    • Bachelors minimum; MBA preferred although not required
    • CFA preferred although not required
    • Prior experience as Consultant preferred although not required
    • Advanced technical computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint in particular)
    • Advanced analytical skills with ability to learn and adapt to various databases, technology
    • Proven project management experience preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Commercial sales and other cross functional experience preferred
