  • Overview

    Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Manager, Human Resources supports companywide and specific Human Resources initiatives in order to achieve business strategy and long and short term objectives.  This role provides support and partners with assigned Operations and Tenzing business leaders.   

    Responsibilities

    • Supports the delivery and implementation of HR processes in collaboration with the Management team.
    • Leads safety culture and supports safety meetings to ensure safety initiatives are communicated and met.
    • Supports the internal talent process acquisition process
    • Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.
    • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
    • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
    • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
    • Consult and participate in employee disciplinary actions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5 years of HR business partner and/or HR generalist experience
    • Certification such as PHR or SPHR preferred
