  • Overview

    The IT Quality Assurance (QA) group has an internship opportunity for an individual who can combine excellent analytical, communication, and technical skills to assist in our IT Compliance program. The primary focus area for this candidate is the software quality assurance process and our ITIL Change and Release management process.


    The candidate will be expected to analyze our use of Cherwell ITSM for Change and Release management to identify process improvements, system enhancements, reporting, and other modifications to optimize the system. Where possible the candidate will learn the method to implement the recommended changes, make the changes, test, and roll-out the changes to the entire IT department and/or end user community.


    In addition, the candidate will assist with various aspects of the software quality assurance process which may include reviewing system requirements, learning new software capabilities, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and user acceptance test coordination.


    The IT Intern will be provided training and mentorship along with guidance on their deliverables.


    • Assists in projects related to IT Quality Assurance. May be expected to complete a project or projects from start to finish of varying levels of responsibility.
    • Interacts with all levels of business and across functions via email, face-to-face meetings and conference calls.


    •  Full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited 4-year College or University. Students should be entering their junior or senior year and have at least one term remaining following completion of the intern program.
    • Pursuing a degree program with a major in IT.
    • Technical skills are a must
    • Business Math proficiency
    • Demonstrate ability to interact with people at various corporate levels
    • Demonstrate ability to solve problems independently
    • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize work
    • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point
