Overview

The Finance Manager of Automation & Analysis is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance financial operations through automation and advanced data analysis. This role will be leveraging automation technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, streamlining financial processes, improving reporting accuracy, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, experience with automation tools, and a passion for data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Automation
    • Identify opportunities to automate financial processes, reducing manual effort and errors.
    • Implement automation tools to improve efficiency in budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
    • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to develop and maintain automated financial systems and tools.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated processes, making recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, providing actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain key performance indications (KPIs) to track financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Strategic Planning
    • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing analytical support and insights.
    • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects to ensure financial viability and risk management.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, providing actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Data Science or related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting or financial managerial experience, with a focus on automation and data analysis
  • SAP (COPA) Experience a plus (ERP/MIS Experience required)
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

  • Want a “go-getter” – someone hungry to make changes and improvements but also humble enough to respect current processes and investigate first before making changes; someone who has confidence to manage a team, energy to motivate, and can work closely with the Local Leadership Team

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone

Competencies:

  • People management responsibility for pay reviews, performance management, training and resource planning
  • Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, where sufficient information may not be available.
